As a lifelong Louisville native, Nicole started her career in advertising and graphic design after graduating from Assumption High School and Western Kentucky University. In 2004, she began a career in the birth field as a Certified Childbirth Educator, Doula and birth photographer, advocating for and guiding her clients through the entire pregnancy and birth process.
Nicole served two terms on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization Birth Care Network, and in 2014, she co-founded Louisville Doula Group, the first group practice in the area. In 2011, Nicole opened nzaPhotography, LLC, a portrait studio specializing in maternity, birth, newborn and family photography, capturing all the important milestones for her clients for 11 years. She also served as a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a non-profit organization offering remembrance photography for families suffering the loss of an infant.
Over the last 20 years, Nicole has served hundreds of families in the Louisville area with expertise, empathy and kindness. She’s been there for first breaths (and a few last), first steps and first birthdays. Her clients know her as an advocate, a teacher, a mentor, a friend, a baby whisperer and a memory preserver. Although she’s moved on from those roles, she is still committed to serving her clients with the same unwavering dedication and care in her new real estate career.
Nicole's passion for real estate started when she and her husband built their first home over 26 years ago. She is also currently working on the design team for Zirnheld Properties, LLC. With an eye for design and attention to detail, she is thorough, organized and professional in everything she does.
So whether this is your first home, your forever home or anything in between, Nicole will be a trusted partner alongside you throughout the process, applying the same knowledge, care and compassion that she’s been offering her clients for the last two decades. She is excited to continue to serve the Louisville community in this new capacity.
Nicole currently resides in Prospect with her husband Michael, two dogs and two of her three children. She services the entire area with a special emphasis on Northeastern Jefferson Co, Prospect and Oldham County.
